Mongolian Lamb Recipe

Ingredients:

– 1 pound lamb shank, thinly sliced
– 4 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
– 2 tablespoons cooking oil
– 2 stalks leeks or scallion, cut into 1-inch pieces
– 1-inch piece ginger, finely chopped
– 4 cloves garlic, cut into smaller pieces

Directions:

Marinate the lamb in 2 tablespoons soy sauce for 20 minutes. Heat up a wok with the oil and add the garlic. Stir-fry for 15 seconds, then add the lamb. Stir-fry until it is about half-cooked, then add the ginger, oyster sauce, and 2 tablespoons soy sauce. Continue to stir-fry until the lamb is almost done, then add the leeks or scallions, stir for another minute, and add salt to taste. Serve hot with rice.
