Kung Pao Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
    • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
    • 1 tablespoon peanut halves
    • Carrots, celery and/or cucumber, diced
    • 5-10 red chili peppers (optional)

Preparation

Marinate the chicken in 1 tablespoon soy sauce for 20 minutes. Heat up the oil in a wok or large skillet until it starts to smoke slightly. Add the chicken cubes and chili peppers and stir-fry for about 20 seconds (until the chicken is no longer pink), then add the vegetables, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and peanuts. Continue stir-frying until the chicken is golden brown and all the vegetables are fully cooked. Remove from heat and serve.
