How to make Crab Rangoon

Whether you’re looking for quick and easy appetizers for parties, quick appetizers for a crowd or just for yourself, this easy crab rangoon recipe is the way to go. Here I will teach you how to have homemade crab rangoon right from your very own kitchen. The crab rangoon dip is usually just a sour cream dipping sauce.

Crab Rangoon Ingredients:

– Cream cheese
– Crab meat or imitation crab meat, minced
– 1/2 tablespoon sugar
– Wonton wrappers
– Cooking oil

Preparation:

Mix the cream cheese, crab meat, and sugar together well to make the crab rangoon filling. Place a block of crab rangoon filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Fold two opposite corners together and use a little water to make them stick. Fold the other two corners together in the same way, using water to pinch shut any openings. The filling should just completely fill the inside of the crab rangoon, so adjust if needed. Continue making crab rangoons until you have enough. Heat up a wok with enough oil for deep-frying, and fry the crab rangoons until light golden brown. Take out and drain the excess oil with paper towels. Let the crab rangoons cool down for a few minutes before serving.
